What Kinds of Work Will You Do?
At Pendant Automation, every role plays a key part in powering the future of industrial automation and warehouse software technology. Our team designs, programs, builds, and supports the intelligent systems that keep warehouses, factories, and supply chains moving efficiently.
Here's a look at the kind of work you could be doing:
CAD Design – Use AutoCAD Electrical to develop detailed control panel and conveyor layout drawings. These plans guide our panel shop in building high-quality control panels and support field electricians during system installation. Precision and creativity go hand in hand in this role.
PLC Programming – Our PLC programmers create the logic that drives large-scale conveyor handling systems — including high-speed merging, sortation, and process automation. They also design intuitive HMI graphics that allow warehouse operators to monitor, manage, and optimize performance in real time.
Control Panel Building – In our on-site UL-certified panel shop, you'll help build the panels that serve as the brains of every automation system. This role combines hands-on craftsmanship with technical precision, ensuring every panel meets the highest standards for quality and safety.
Startup and Commissioning – Our startup and commissioning engineers bring systems to life. You'll travel to customer sites to install, test, and fine-tune systems, ensuring everything runs exactly as designed. This role blends PLC programming expertise with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Software Development – Work with our team on Revolution Street WXS, Pendant's innovative warehouse control software. This platform simplifies warehouse automation, connecting hardware, controls, and data into one cohesive system. It's always evolving — and so will you.
