Pendant is an end-to-end industrial automation integrator. We design, program, build, and commission the control systems that run warehouses, manufacturing plants, and process facilities across the world — engineered to be powerful underneath and simple for the people on the floor.
Pendant Automation was founded in 2006 by Rob Ward as a one-stop shop for control systems integration. Headquartered in Havre de Grace, Maryland, we operate around the world — with completed projects in 22 different countries and across all of North America, including Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and the entire continental United States.
In 2024 we launched Revolution St., our own warehouse execution platform — the first WES built from the ground up to be agent-native. It represents everything we've learned from operating on both sides of the table: as the integrators who wire the system, and as the engineers who have to keep it running when things go wrong.
When you bring a project to Pendant, you show us your layout and your goals — we handle the rest: design and engineering, programming, panel build, startup, and commissioning.

Our focus is to work with you to execute your project professionally, punctually, and profitably for everyone involved.
Our offices and panel shop are in Havre de Grace, Maryland — a small city at the confluence of the Susquehanna River and the Chesapeake Bay, about an hour north of Baltimore. We travel for every project and support customers globally, but home base is here.
